At the beginning of a project, Kirwin Norris assists clients with acquisition, finance, bidding and procurement, and contract negotiations for design and construction services. During the construction phase of a project, Kirwin Norris routinely provides real-time advice on issues including changes, schedule impacts, and defects to help avoid claims. Although the firm promotes the use of alternative dispute methods to resolve claims, when required the firm has successfully arbitrated and litigated multi-million dollar disputes in both state and federal courts. After project completion, the firm continues to assist clients with close-out issues, permanent financing, sales and leasing transactions, as well as occupancy issues.
