Danahy & Murray, PA is a firm of trial lawyers specializing in first party insurance litigation. We only represent insureds against their own insurance company. The claims handled by our firm include property damage claims, health, life and disability claims, coverage denials, other types of “first party” disputes, and resulting claims for bad faith. The Firm was founded in 2004 by Matt Danahy and David Murray, who combine their years of legal experience to benefit the firm’s clients. The firm handles cases throughout Florida from its office located in the Historic Hyde Park neighborhood of Tampa. The firm was originally located in the historic Jackson House ( below ) until we out grew the available space. The firm moved to its current location at the corner of Swann Avenue and S.
